The Basic Tuition Charges (School Year 2009/2010) which include all the following activities is only $31,835.00.
· MSD-based classroom instruction
· Psychological testing
· Audiological services
· Medical services
· On-site school psychologist
· On-site mental health counselor
· On-site transition coordinator
· Sports and other extra-curricular activities
· Speech and Language services for students and their families
There is no charge to parents.
The following is the NET charge to the local school district:
Basic Tuition: $31,835.00
Less Foundation Amount: (10,000.00)
Less Section 54 Amount: (11,954.00)
Net Cost to the local school district (excluding transportation): $9,881.00
IEPC’d additional services (i.e., Occupational therapy; physical therapy; assignment at the area skill center; etc.) are listed in the column titled “Additional Service Charges” and are charged accordingly.
There is no charge for room and board to either parents or the local school district.
