MSD Preschool Class  

 Greetings from Preschool at

the Michigan School for the Deaf! 

We are a full-day preschool program for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 who are deaf or hard of hearing.  Our days start at 8:00am and end at 3:15pm, except for Fridays, which end at 12:15pm.  Staff includes one teacher (certified in both Deaf Education and Early Childhood Education) and three classroom aides.  We team with an American Sign Language instructor, speech therapist and audiologist, as well.

Our preschool days are chock full of language, literacy, art, physical education, math, science, and social studies!  We have an afternoon nap, as well as breakfast, lunch and snack, all provided by the school.
