Benvenuto!
("Welcome!" in Italian)
I am excited to be leading the middle school students as we explore and expand our knowledge in the following content areas: Western Hemisphere Studies (6th Grade), Eastern Hemisphere Studies (7th Grade), and the 19th Century U.S. History (8th Grade). Below are the links of the course of studies using the Oakland schools model curriculum which utilizes Michigan’s Social Studies Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs). In addition, the classroom is taught using the bilingual approach which is overseen by CAEBER (Center of American Sign Language & English Bilingual Education & Research). Should you have any questions, please feel free to email me at grupidon@michigan.gov.
