My name is Elizabeth Tallent and I am a secondary English/Literature/Journalism teacher at Michigan School for the Deaf (M.S.D.). This year I am teaching English, English literature, journalism, and am co-advisor on the yearbook. We produce a newspaper (The Michigan Mirror) the first of every month. We also have an exciting all color yearbook. The Yearbook can be pre-purchased for $45 (checks payable to M.S.D.), 1667 Miller Road, Flint, MI 48503, attention Valerie Nordstrom room 225. I am dedicated to students and I offer them an environment that is safe and open to expressing ideas. A resourceful and creative instructor, I utilize technology and many activities and teaching methods to encompass individual learning styles. I believe in teaching across the curriculum and the importance of parental involvement in the education of children. Below find library resources available to students for research purposes.
